In years past BartonPartners employees have spent time volunteering in the field; the past several years have been about putting their skills to the test, designing efficient and economical homes for Habitat for Humanity. It’s been over 2.5 years since the beginning of the design process of new construction homes for Habitat for Humanity, Montgomery County in the North Hills section of Upper Dublin, PA. In that time we’ve collaboratively seen 4 homes built, 12 people housed and hundreds of volunteers come together to give back to the community. From design charettes to collaborative documentation many of BartonPartners staff members have contributed to the process. The first 3 homes were designed for single working mothers with children.
