The Place at Marlboro is a multi-building affordable housing project that received tax credit funding through NJHMFA. The project includes 154 apartment units spread throughout nine residential structures, plus a community building. The design responded to the client’s request with their property management style and mission statement put forward: Providing more pride of place within each unit, and less common space as well, each unit enjoys a private, direct entry at grade. BartonPartners developed the site plan design along with the architecture to respond to a gently sloping site.
