Formally entitled for industrial or distribution uses along the Delaware Riverfront in the City of New Castle, Delaware, RiverEdge is an attempt to place a new neighborhood with a variety of housing types on an underutilized site close to a jobs center.  With spectacular views of the Delaware River and the twin spans of the Delaware Memorial Bridge, RiverEdge is to include over 450 units with traditional apartments, townhomes, and detached single family homes, all for rent.  The plan includes extensive amenities, two small retail shops, and significant recreation space.
