Oxford Mills has been redeveloped to house corporate offices for education-focused non-profits (Teach for America) and discounted rental housing for teachers. The project goal is to create a new destination
community where like-minded people live, work, and feel inspired and connected. The two early 20th Century industrial buildings that contain the project are located in the South Kensington section of Philadelphia and are separated by the former Hope Street. The West Building contains 95 residential units and the East Building contains 22 residential units and 30,000 SF of rental office space, half of which is occupied by Teach for America.
