BartonPartners Welcomes Josh Eckert

BartonPartners is pleased to announce that Josh Eckert has been added as a senior member of the Urban Design team. He brings over 15 years of architectural and planning experience to the firm and will play a critical role in the land planning, urban design and architectural design of masterplanned communities and mixed-use projects.
Josh’s experience includes directing site design and land-use approvals for a variety of urban design and planning projects. Projects ranged from greenfield developments to both urban and suburban infill projects with a particular focus on Traditional Neighborhood Development and New Urbanist town planning. As a registered architect, he has managed the architectural design and documentation of multiple residential and mixed-use developments across the country.
Josh received his Bachelor of Architecture and Master of Architectural Design & Urbanism degrees from the University of Notre Dame. He is a registered architect and licensed professional planner in New Jersey and is also a LEED Accredited Professional. In addition to his responsibilities within the firm, Josh is a board member of the Philadelphia chapter of the Institute of Classical Art & Architecture and has taught urban design and planning courses as an adjunct professor at Rowan University.
