PARC Breaks Ground

Rising at 134 Plymouth Road in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, PARC will be a luxurious state-of-the-art, multi-family community first conceived in the throes of The Great Recession. Originally zoned for over 1 million square feet of commercial and office development, the property’s owner, Brandywine Realty Trust, quickly realized that they would need to switch gears in order to achieve their goals for the property.
Turning to BartonPartners, Brandywine proposed that the site could be repositioned as one of the premier multi-family communities in the region. Commencing in 2010, BartonPartners and Brandywine, as well as several other engineering and legal consultants, worked with Plymouth Township to craft an ordinance to permit midrise residential uses, which included density bonuses for targeted sustainability initiatives.
Upon Entitlement, Brandywine partnered with Toll Brothers Apartment Living who brought their extensive residential expertise to the project. When complete, PARC will include nearly 400 residential rental apartments within 7 elevator served buildings. Additionally, an 11,000 square foot leasing center and clubhouse is planned with every imaginable amenity, including an outdoor pool and plaza, volleyball and bocce courts, pet spa and massage rooms. Project completion is slated for the end of 2015.
